The honest answer: it depends, but not in a way that leaves you guessing. Here is how mobile app pricing actually breaks down in Tunisia, and what moves the number.
The short version
- A focused MVP (one platform, core flows, no integrations): typically 30,000 – 60,000 TND.
- A production app (both platforms, auth, payments, admin): 60,000 – 150,000 TND.
- A complex platform (logistics, marketplaces, real-time): scoped in phases, usually from 150,000 TND up.
These are build costs, not monthly costs. Hosting and maintenance are separate (more below).
What actually drives the price
1. Number of roles. An app where customers order and merchants manage stock is three products, not one. Every extra role (admin, courier, manager) adds screens, permissions and edge cases.
2. Integrations. Payments, WhatsApp, delivery tracking, ERP: each integration is real work: accounts, testing, failure cases. An app with no integrations is dramatically cheaper than one with three.
3. Offline and real-time requirements. If the app must work with no connection (our delivery app does), or update live like a tracking screen, you are paying for sync logic: this is engineering, not decoration.
4. Who builds it. Agency, freelancer, in-house: different risk profiles. The cheap bid that under-scopes the project costs more when the rebuild starts.
What does not move the price much
Screens. A polished app with 15 well-designed screens costs about the same as one with 10; design is fast compared to logic. Focusing your budget on flows rather than pixel counts is the single biggest saving available to you.
Build once, then run
Budget for the running costs too: hosting (often 0 – 50 TND/month at our scale), stores’ developer fees, and a maintenance retainer for fixes and updates. Apps are not finished at launch; they are finished when they stop changing, which is never.
